Most weeks the dish soap you buy isn't the one you bought last time. It's whatever's cheapest, whatever's in the bigger bottle, whatever the supermarket's pushing this fortnight. That's normal. What's not normal is a dispenser that only really works with one brand's bottle shape, or one that quietly expects you to keep buying its own refill to match.

Why Cool Frank exists

Sian and Bec started Cool Frank in Brisbane in late 2019, looking for a sink organiser that was actually practical and didn't look like hospital supply. They couldn't find one, so they worked with a local design studio to build it themselves. When it came to the bottles, the brief was simple: hold whatever soap the person already buys. Cool Frank isn't in the business of selling you soap — it's in the business of holding it, however you buy it, for as long as you want to keep buying that brand.

The two pump bottles in the Gleam & Go Mini aren't a proprietary cartridge system — they're straightforward bottles with a screw-off top, made to be filled and refilled with whatever's in your cupboard. Bulk dish soap, a hand wash you like, a concentrated detergent — pour it in, screw the pump back on, done.

One base, less pump waste

Both bottles sit on a single compact base, so the pair takes up one footprint instead of two loose bottles rolling around. It's sized to suit a kitchen bench, though customers also put it on a laundry shelf or a second sink. One pump per press means concentrated soap goes further too — the kind of detail people notice once they stop using twice as much as they need.

Yes — that's the point. The bottles arrive empty. Fill them with the dish soap, hand wash or detergent you already buy, in whatever size you bought it in.

Do the bottles come filled?

No. They ship empty on purpose, so you're not stuck buying a specific refill just to keep using the dispenser.

Will bulk or budget dish soap work in the pump?

Yes. The pump is a standard mechanism, not tuned to one brand's thickness. Customers use everything from budget supermarket soap to concentrated eco brands.

What if I run out of one brand halfway through a bottle?

Top it up with whatever's on the shelf. The two bottles don't need to match — plenty of people mix a hand wash with a dish soap without a second thought.

Is there any soap the pump won't handle?
